"Beauty is how I feel, how I speak, how I serve. Beauty is the way I carry myself, the inherent pulse of the Divine Feminine within me that only I can activate. My mama has modeled true natural beauty for me my entire life. She exudes beauty in her fiercely compassionate, unwaveringly selfless, keenly intuitive, rustic unafraid-to-get-her-hands-dirty, deeply loving nature. Beauty is a vibration, it is how you make others feel, it is the imprint you leave on their hearts."
What makes you feel most radiant?
Waking up fresh-faced is when I feel most radiant. Emerging from a deep, post-practice savasana infuses a glow like no other. When I'm in the company of my dearest loved ones. When I'm talking about my greatest passions, my truths, my dreams, and I'm lit up from the inside out. I feel profoundly radiant when I'm out in mother nature - having climbed a mountaintop, or reached the coast - the wind in my hair, the flush of exertion, and the sun and moon dancing above.
What daily practices are you devoted to? How do you create the time and space for them?
I begin every morning with a warm lemon water and apple cider vinegar tonic, after tongue scraping. Yoga asana is a daily devotion, whether I have time and space for a full practice, or just some delicious stretching (I stretch all day long). Prayer. Vedic Meditation (even 5 minutes, sitting in the car, helps a shift to occur). Journaling. I sip herbal tea throughout the day (my favorites are raspberry leaf, dandelion root, and nettles). Daily tonic herb potions, usually at bedtime. Nightly skincare ritual. Nourishing my body with organic, whole foods. Sitting at my altar before my crystals and talismans, practicing divination or just gratitude. I make time and space for these essentials by making them portable, and allowing them to be small but mighty acts of radical self-care and little holy acts upon which my energy is rebuilt each day.
What is success for you? How do you cultivate prosperity in your daily experience?
Success is a life well-lived. It's living my passion and truth each day. Success is reflected in how peaceful, loving, healthy, and content I feel on a daily basis. I cultivate prosperity in my daily experience by actively practicing mental hygiene, releasing and surrounding all thoughts and habits that do not serve me, and by allowing my beautiful mama (and greatest spiritual teacher) to hold me accountable. It's easy to slip into the scarcity complex, fearing we do not have enough, when in reality we have everything we need. I am rich in love, opportunity, safety, and passion. I have everything I need.
